Amarone della Valpolicella

Amarone Wine Cellar - Ugolini Estate

Amarone della Valpolicella is one of the world’s greatest wines.

What’s interesting is you can find Amarones that cost between $40 to $400 a bottle. Why is there such a broad range?

When a name like Amarone becomes famous, many brands get to enjoy that success even if their wines are subpar.

That’s why unfortunately, many wine lovers are drinking Amarone “brand names” instead of focusing on the source of the wine.

So the hidden opportunity to experience why Amarone is a miracle among wines begins at the origin vineyard and not the brand name.

In this virtual master class, author Tony Margiotta will take you deep into the Valpolicella to unearth the secrets of this grand wine.

You’ll discover:

- The Real History Behind The Name Amarone
- Mother Nature's Key Ingredients To Making Amarone
- Why Each Vintage Has Its Own Identity
- How To Read An Amarone Label Like A Pro
-And much more!

Join us for a very rare opportunity to taste 2 vintages of Amarone della Valpolicella single vineyard cru from the Ugolini Family Estate: 2012 and 2015.

The Ugolini Family Estate owns some of the most coveted vineyard locations in the Valpolicella Classica. Their wines have received gold medals from international wine competitions throughout the world. The Amarone 2015 will become the legendary vintage of the past 20 years. And the 2012 redefines what Amarone can be: a fresh and fruity wine with finesse and elegance, even after 12 years of aging!

The Ugolini family wines represent some of the finest in the Valpolicella today. Their Amarone wines can age at least 25 years. But there's so much more to discover about these great wines during the Master Class!

ONE TIME OFFER $147 (120 bottles remaining!): There are wines that fill a glass. And then there are wines that fill a room. This is the latter. It begins not with a whisper, but with a pause — the kind before someone says something worth remembering. A new idea. Or an old truth dressed differently. The kind of wine that doesn’t speak over you, but invites you in. And before you know it, you're in a conversation that moves — somewhere between laughter, goosebumps, and the quiet realization that you’ve just learned something… not just about wine, but about yourself. This is Ugolini’s Valle Alta Amarone. A single-vineyard cru from a place aptly named “High Valley,” where ancient Roman roads once passed and the sun still rises with a purpose. At 839 feet above sea level, elevation becomes an ingredient, not a statistic. Grapes here are sun-kissed by day, chilled by night, and sculpted by the wind — the way nature used to do things before we got involved. Only the best of the hand-harvested bunches are chosen, and those are gently air-dried for five long months. Not in a factory. In wooden crates. In open air. The way Romans did when Emperors drank from goblets and believed flavor could only come from patience. In March, the final selection happens — each raisined cluster chosen by hand, again. Macerated for two months. A quiet alchemy. Then, into French oak barrels, where the story slows… and deepens. Years pass. The wine doesn’t mind. When it finally arrives in your glass, this Amarone speaks with warmth and elegance. Of dried cherry and cocoa. Tobacco and ash. Leather-bound books and forgotten poems. It is a wine best served with a decanter, a large balloon glass, and at least one person who enjoys a good story. 2011 was a five-star vintage — a climate so perfect, nature barely had to lift a finger. That year’s Valle Alta Amarone earned international acclaim and holds one of the longest aging potentials of the past two decades. 2015, already in your wine pack, is no less noble — different in character, but equally profound. Comparing the two is like listening to the same composer play in summer and then in winter: different tempos, same genius. A conversation worth having. Age-worthy for 30 years. Conversation-worthy tonight. Gold Medal - Concours Mondial de Bruxelles / Gold Medal - Mundus Vini / Top 100 Wines Of Italy 2020 - Gold Medal - Merano Wine Hunter Competition
